"Originally from Kent I moved to Wales to start my career. I've lived here in the land of song since 1992. A self taught painter of land, sea and underwaterscapes, the natural world and light. I try to capture light and atmosphere, mostly in a realist style but I do go off tangent with some looser work occasionally. Working from sketches, photos, notes and memory I love nothing more than taking a flat surface, applying paint and creating the illusion of something solid, something real upon it. I doubt I will ever tire of the magic of that process."
